Point Slope, LLC is a minority-owned development and integration consultancy based in Miami. The foundation of our team is a trio of respected industry veterans with wide-ranging technical and leadership experience.

    Earle is a seasoned systems integrator, developer, and architect. Since his early days with EDS and right up to the present day, Earle has provided architectural design, team leadership and critical technical expertise on numerous systems integration, application and product development projects.

    Another former EDS consultant, Dan has transformed traditional development teams into agile powerhouses. He has guided the evolution of Point Slope’s core development methodologies, emphasizing the need for lean processes that deliver shippable code in short iterations.

    Rounding out the leadership team, Christian served as Vice President of Technology for theglobe.com prior to co-founding Point Slope in 2007. His experiences in telephony, procurement, travel, ticketing, and product development lend additional breadth to Point Slope's knowledge portfolio.

  • Adrian Martin Senior Full Stack Engineer

    After earning his MBA from the University of Florida, Adrian spent several years at travel start-up as their software architect. During his tenure, he oversaw the design and development of the web applications that enabled the company to quadruple its market presence in a very short period of time. After moving to South Florida, he worked for Norwegian Cruise Line on their applications development team where he was involved with several enterpise projects including a redesign of their booking engine.

Earle Acosta Founding Partner

Earle is a seasoned systems integrator, developer, and architect. Since his early days with EDS and right up to the present day, Earle has provided architectural design, team leadership and critical technical expertise on numerous systems integration, application and product development projects.

Recent Contributions

Working for Delaware North, Earle led the integration architecture initiative for the Kennedy Space Center's online ticketing system replacement project. In addition to these duties, he recommended and implemented numerous improvements to the user experience of the checkout process.

Daniel De Aguiar, Ph.D Founding Partner

Another former EDS consultant, Dan has transformed traditional development teams into agile powerhouses. He has guided the evolution of Point Slope’s core development methodologies, emphasizing the need for lean processes that deliver shippable code in short iterations.

Recent Contributions

At MovieTickets.com, Dan played the role of Interim CTO where he provided steady leadership and sound architectural oversight during the team's modernization of its legacy processes and systems.

Christian Romney Founding Partner

Rounding out the leadership team, Christian served as Vice President of Technology for theglobe.com prior to co-founding Point Slope in 2007. His experiences in telephony, procurement, travel, ticketing, and product development lend additional breadth to Point Slope’s knowledge portfolio.

Recent Contributions

At Norwegian Cruise Line, Christian played the role of technical project lead during the organization's successful re-implementation of its online booking engine. Previously, (along with Dan) he co-developed NCL's Online Check-In application which registered over 1 million passengers per year.

Adrian Martin Senior Full Stack Engineer

Since joining Point Slope, Adrian continues to build innovative products for start-up companies in both Python and Clojure. For clients like Y!kes, Adrian provided savvy technical guidance, API development, cloud architecture, and systems integration support for an cutting-edge start-up seeking to revolutionize the hospitality industry. Most recently Adrian has worked on several front-end projects using Functional Reactive programming, ReactJS, and ClojureScript.
